And, this is the last straw.
Baby Justice's mother had gone to the local Albuquerque Police 2 hours before the murder and tried to turn herself in for an outstanding warrant. Our wonderful police couldn't find the warrant, so they refused to arrest her. (Another version has surfaced that the police did find the warrant but chose not to enforce it.) Nevertheless, the mother told the police that she had been thrown out of her mother's home and the "party house" and that she and her son had no place to go. The police gave her the phone number and location of a women's abuse foundation home that might be able take them in, but didn't bother to ask if she had transportation to get there. When she begged the police to help her, they told her they couldn't help every homeless person who dropped in. Just another example of our wonderful Albuquerque Police Department.
