I wasn't going to get into the discussion about Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor; but, I'm getting tired of hearing what a racist the woman is. Because she once said that she felt that as a Latino woman she could make a better decision than a white man on some case she was reviewing, she shouldn't set on the Supreme Court. Well, then our founding fathers weren't fit to hold their offices or for that matter, found this great nation. Yes, our founding fathers were RACIST, SEXIST, and IN FAVOR OF THE WEALTHY CLASS TO RULE. My God, wash my mouth out with soap. How can I speak ill of the men that found this nation and gave us the freedoms that we have today. THEY DIDN'T! The founding fathers (notice no founding mothers) wanted this nation to be governed by white, wealthy, men. They didn't give females the right to vote, nor people of color. They didn't think the poor knew enough to hold office nor govern our country. They wanted only white, wealthy, men to take this country on its voyage into the future. They wanted to make George Washington king not president. So, get off your Washington high-horse and quit getting on news programs and stating that Sonia Sotomayor is too racist to set on the Supreme Court. Judge the woman on her merits, not on remarks she made concerning her nationality versus some wealthy, white, male. Quit with the remarks about this nation was founded on freedom for everyone, because it wasn't and probably will never be free from race, gender, or amount of money in your pocket.
